ENLIGHT RISE and Arqus webinar series on Open Science

The first webinar of the series on Open Science organised by two European university alliances, ENLIGHT and Arqus, will take place on 13 December from 10 to 11:30. Pia Voigt from Leipzig University will present on Open Science practices and challenges in a European university alliance.

Please see the agenda of the webinar and register for the event.

Open Science plays a pivotal role in the sharing of knowledge and research findings across various disciplines, making scientific research accessible to all, with benefits for both scientists and society as a whole. While many researchers are already actively engaged in Open Science, there are also individuals who encounter difficulties and may be uncertain about how to begin their journey. For them, the upcoming webinar series aims to identify and discuss obstacles and reservations in using Open Science, and also to present best practices to help individuals overcome these challenges.

The next webinar will take place on 28 February 2024 from 10 to 11:30. Richèl Bilderbeek from Uppsala University (Sweden) will present insights in the pros and cons of Open Science within the local Open Science community.
